The argument around the European copyright directive is really about who profits from what is circulated on the internet, whether that is the major companies like Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. They also feel that we will become dependent on “Memes.” The three articles are “Article 11”, “Article 3” and “Article 13.” In higher parts of the government, there are many believers that feel “Memes” will be the downfall of human race. None of the people arguing on either side can come to the truth of the fact and the people it involves are caught in the crossfire. The other pole denounces their point of view. One issue where debate over facts has clouded the importance of an issue is for the “Transgender debate.” One pole goes with people refusing to accept that “Men can be Women” and “Women can be Men” due to old belief being passed down generations. We as a nation wouldn’t know where to begin. Major decisions that need to be debated like country relations can be impacted by falsifying facts. If the facts were falsified then people may be disagreeing on topics for the wrong reasons. Facts are meant to be true and this will allow us to construct debates off of it.You are building human lives off of lies which slowly drifts them away from society as a whole. I do not believe that a person can use alternative facts on an issue. Facts are meant to be the truth in which a human being can learn from.
